Birthed out of and anchored in the eXplode Youth ministry, the eXplode Band was formed in 2006 to be a musical voice to the young people in its community. The eXplode band is passionate in its ambition to see their generation encounter God through worship and be transformed by His presence from the inside out.

Holding to the belief that everybody was created to worship Jesus Christ, the eXplode Band through its music seeks to bring young people into the presence of God where they can discover His plans and purpose for their lives.

As music has always shaped and defined young people lives, the eXplode band are an important part of the ministry of the church in reaching out to and bringing young people into a live changing encounter with God.

Ecclesiastes 12 says 'Remember your creator in the days of your youth'.

The band members are: Jonathan Salomon (Keyboards and guitar), Sofia Augsbuger (vocals), Sonya Woods (Vocals), James Gill (bass, Guitar), Andrew Gill (Keyboards), Joubert Lurrie (Drums).
