Birthed out of and anchored in the eXplode Youth ministry, the eXplode Band was formed in 2006 to be a musical voice to the young people in its community. The eXplode band is passionate in its ambition to see their generation encounter God through worship and be transformed by His presence from the inside out.
Holding to the belief that everybody was created to worship Jesus Christ, the eXplode Band through its music seeks to bring young people into the presence of God where they can discover His plans and purpose for their lives.
As music has always shaped and defined young people lives, the eXplode band are an important part of the ministry of the church in reaching out to and bringing young people into a live changing encounter with God.
Ecclesiastes 12 says 'Remember your creator in the days of your youth'.
The band members are: Jonathan Salomon (Keyboards and guitar), Sofia Augsbuger (vocals), Sonya Woods (Vocals), James Gill (bass, Guitar), Andrew Gill (Keyboards), Joubert Lurrie (Drums).
Hello!! My name is Jonathan also known as Jonny. I'm Originally from Mauritius that beautiful Island in the Indian Ocean. I Came in the UK in November 2004 and became part of eXplode Youth Ministry in June 2005. I play piano and keyboard, drums and guitar. My main instrument is the keyboard but at the moment I'm playing guitar in eXplode band.
H! I'm Andrew and I am the Lead Singer of the eXplode Band since 2010, plus I also play Piano and Keyboard in the band. I have lived in England all my life and Music is one of my passions so I like to make a bit of noise when I'm near a piano - You may need ear plugs!!!

I was born in Cordoba, Argentina and move to England in 2002. Since I was little, I knew I would one day leave my beautiful Argentina and serve God in another country.
Hi! My name is James and I'm the bass guitarist of eXplode band. My main hobby is sport, sport AND MORE SPORT! Be warned, I'm very competitive and I don't like losing (which happens very rarely!)
